Particular attention was drawn to the topic of local treatment of the anorectal region, which was addressed by abdominal surgeons Assistant Professor Dr Emil Kinda, Dr Josip Baković, Damir Karlović, and Damir Quien. This was followed by Associate Professor Dr Ivana Mikolašević and Iva Skočilić, who presented preliminary results of an extensive clinical study on the prevention of radiation proctitis.

The professional gathering was held with the support of the Croatian Medical Association and is particularly significant for Pontus Pharma, as gastroenterology represents one of the company’s primary therapeutic areas. We are proud to have the opportunity to actively contribute to professional dialogue and the development of innovative treatment approaches.
